]]> Social media is literally taking over the way the world functions and communicates, and is continuing to expand each and every minute of every day. It’s a scary thought… isn’t it? With a society built on the innovations of technology, it is more important than ever to utilize what it has to offer – but this can create a gray area. In a world that is communicating less and less by word of mouth, and more by Facebook status’ and Twitter updates, it’s easy to lose your genuine voice. Musicians, record labels, photographers, business owners, and artists alike – the hardest part is remembering to always stay true to the story you are trying to tell and the product you are trying to sell. Be the story that sticks out – that actually SAYS something. Don’t hide behind your computer – actually communicate with people. Learn to balance the fine line between the technological world and the real world. Most importantly, remember that time is fleeting and take every oppurtunity given to you and run with it. A status comes and goes in the blink of an eye, but the impression you make in those few seconds are forever lasting.

I say all of this only because I saw this video on Youtube earlier today and it shocked me. Times are changing, people.
