Loyola Student Interview: Kevin Coogan of Stella Management Gives Advice for Hip Hop Artists
Loyola student Kelvin Brown speaks with Kevin Coogan of Stella Management about what hip-hop artists should bear in mind with regard to publishing. Coogan encourages all artists to join a performing rights organization (PRO) such as ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers), and stresses the importance of being educated about how the splits in songwriting work.
