Loyola University New Orleans provides the music major with the business tools needed to maintain sustainable careers in the music industry. Offers program-specific courses in Music Industry Studies focusing on legal issues in music, music finance, music promotion, music administration, and multi-media production. Delgado Community College

Today, Delgado is renowned as Louisiana’s oldest and largest community college, serving men and women of all ages who reflect the diversity of the New Orleans metropolitan area. Delgado is a comprehensive, multi-campus community college and a major institution of higher education in the State of Louisiana. Its seven locations form a center for professional and advanced technology career education, academic pre-baccalaureate education, and traditional occupational training.

The University of New Orleans (UNO), the urban research university of the State of Louisiana, provides essential support for the educational, economic, cultural, and social well being of the culturally rich and diverse New Orleans metropolitan area. The university strategically serves the needs of the region through its undergraduate and graduate programs and through mutually beneficial collaborations with public and private bodies whose missions and goals are consistent with and supportive of UNO’s teaching, scholarly, and community service objectives.

Dillard University

The cornerstone of New Orleans’ Gentilly Community, the university is set on a beautiful and serene 55-acre campus, replete with signature live oak trees and a mixture of historic buildings and modern facilities. Our current student body hails from 27 states and six foreign countries.

Forty-one percent of Dillard students pursue an advanced degree within five years of graduation. In the last three years, graduates of Dillard’s Japanese Studies Program have been admitted to the graduate schools at Yale and Columbia universities for advanced study of international affairs. Dillard University is also the only university in the United States that is a partner in the Melton Foundation. Dillard students who become Melton Fellows participate in inter-cultural training, leadership development, and global education through symposia, travel, online activities, project grants, and social service. Our host countries are China, Chile, Germany, India and the United States.
